What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager (MDA) position at Auria?
Auria is looking to hire an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, CO – Schriever Space Force Base.
The selected candidate will be responsible for working with multiple teams/Product Owners to assess the resources needed to complete projects from start to finish. This person will work extensively for the infrastructure group to help manage resources and timelines, including day-to-day work prioritization based on business value and impact on the warfighter.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate meetings to go over/capture requirements for infrastructure to support
- Responsible for assisting in building project plans to ensure requirements are being met based on resource availability
- Required to work with the business operations group to provide schedule updates based on project status
- Participate in increment program planning to identify infrastructure project dependencies and need dates to support software and hardware installation
Basic Qualifications:

- Current/active in-scope DoD issued TOP SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience
- or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 4 years of experience,
- or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years working with system admin, network engineer, and software development teams
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years building project plans and organizing groups to manage personnel resources
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years working in an Agile environment
- Applicants must have experience in tracking and reporting status for Earned Value Management (EVM)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and active in-scop DoD issued TS/SCI clearance is highly desired
Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($124,000 - $137,000).
