Overview
Lead the production team to manufacture high-quality products within promised timelines, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Manage personnel, monitor manufacturing processes, and collaborate with the Plant Manager and peers to achieve annual plant operating targets.
Responsibilities -
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Manage and lead a team of production workers, providing training and support as needed.
- Oversee the assembly and fabrication processes, ensuring that products meet specifications.
- Maintain equipment and tools, performing regular inspections and coordinating repairs or maintenance.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies necessary for production.
- Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, logistics, and engineering to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Reduce recordable incidents and improve unsafe condition observations
- Improve on-time shipment performance and reduce customer complaints

Qualifications -

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (SMED, TPM, kaizen)
Understanding of statistical process control, including analyzing results and taking actions
