Job Summary:
We’re seeking two Maintenance Technicians with experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment specific to wood manufacturing. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of machinery critical to meeting facility goals for safety, quality, and production deadlines.
Location: Flexible across Manor and Howard locations
Pay Rate: $23.50 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and flexibility
Schedule:
- Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift, depending on the needs of the facility.
- Ability to provide coverage across our Manor and Howard locations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, test, and maintain wood production equipment for preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery or equipment.
- Perform repairs or replace components on industrial machinery (e.g., forklifts, trucks, and wood-related equipment).
- Conduct preventative maintenance on systems such as air compressors, forklift batteries, and dust collection systems.
- Read and follow manufacturer manuals for proper equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of parts, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with the production team in a fast-paced environment to address maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and equipment repair, preferably in wood production or similar industries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with temperature changes based on the weather.
- Must be flexible to travel and work between the Manor and Howard locations.
