What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Ausley McMullen?
An established downtown law firm is seeking a full-time accounting payables clerk. The candidate must have at least three years’ experience in the accounting field, preferably working in a law firm environment. Candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), an ability to multi-task and be a problem solver. Candidate must have good work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, a willingness to take on new assignments as required, and always comply with the policies and procedures of the firm. Additionally, the candidate must be a team player who exhibits good time management skills and maintains good relationships with management and co-workers. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, processing AP invoices throughout the month, issuing quick checks daily as required, maintaining vendor files - including requesting w-9 from new vendors, sharing in client billing responsibilities with others in accounting department, processing firm credit card bill monthly, and payment of annual bar dues for attorneys.
Experience with Juris software a plus.

Salary range begins at $52,000 but will be commensurate with experience.
