Driver/Material Handler

The Driver/Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, supplies, and medical device products between facilities, suppliers, and customers. This position also includes handling, storing, and distributing inventory within the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Load, unload, and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure timely deliveries and communicate any delays or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and stock replenishment.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of medical device components and hazardous materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in other warehouse or logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical device handling regulations (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass Pre-employment and Random Drug and Alcohol Testing

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and delivery settings with exposure to varying temperatures.
• May require standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Flexible schedule may be required to meet business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
