REPORTS TO : Security & Technology Specialist (Visitor Control) I / II
SUPERVISES : Not applicable
AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the organization’s Security Department ensuring compliance with company policies, security procedures, and government regulations
- Process and maintain records related to security access, visitor logs, and badge issuance
- Maintains various security and access systems
- Process U.S. persons visit requests
- Verify proof of citizenship documents
- Collaborate with internal and external teammates and partners to ensure efficient on-boarding of Austal and Contractor / Subcontractor personnel
- Process incoming visits via DISS
- requires security clearance
- Maintain DISS spreadsheets and submit to customer / teammate for approvals
- requires security clearance
- Arrange and coordinate visits with authorized teammates
- Register guests in visitor logs and databases
- Utilize various software programs for data entry and badge creation
- Create / Activate / Re-activate access badges
- Update / Change / Troubleshoot credentials and access permissions for badges
- Receive and file Guard House paperwork
- Perform clerical and administrative support duties as needed
