TITLE : Quality Document Control II Approved by : Director, QC / QA
REPORTS TO : Quality Lead
SUPERVISES : N / A
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure compliance to the Quality Document Control processes and procedures.
- Control and issue of all required documentation.
- Responsible for tracking surveys through approval process.
- Responsible for maintaining all internal and external Quality documentation.
- Responsible for interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Consult with Production and Quality liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in tracking production metrics.
- Compile and maintain various required metric documentation.
- Assist with training Quality Document Controller I employees.
- Facilitate, maintain, and report on special assignments / projects.
- This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employee will also perform other tasks as assigned.
- Complies with Austal’s employee handbook general guidelines, company procedures and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE :
Welder Certification - process all required information based on established procedures and guidelines
Quality Department Inspection Reporting - processing all QA inspection data and updating weekly reporting
Survey Requests - process all required information based on established procedures and guidelines
Survey Results - process all required information based on established procedures and guidelines
Working knowledge of Power Point and Access preferred.
LIAISES WITH : Production departments, Foreman, Managers, Training Leads, Regulatory Body and Customer

WORK ENVIRONMENT
