Austen Dooley Company is a private for-profit company serving the residential needs of the developmentally disabled in the Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis areas.
This is a fast paced front office position that supports the HR Department and the overall management team. Experience and knowledge in HR is a must.
Job Summary The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support to the human resource department and perform front office related job duties.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 2 years office experience
- Must have high attention to detail AND the ability to multi task
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must have excellent communication skills
The HR Administrative Assistant duties may include but are not limited to:
- Review applicants and schedule interview dates/times
- Perform background checks
- Assemble new hire orientation handbooks and informational packets
- Assemble new employee files
- Collecting and tracking data related to employee compliance with Medicaid regulations
- Auditing and upkeep of employee files
- Update excel spreadsheets
- Coordinate training for team members
- Answer phone lines and direct calls
- Place supply orders and organize supplies
- Fax, mail, email
- Assisting in office organization and filing
- Implementing new concepts
- Support overall management team
- Domestic duties: make coffee, stock fridge, run dishwasher, refill soap and paper towels in bathroom

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
