Field Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for various electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation. The Field Service Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are functioning optimally and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical equipment and logic controllers.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to field service operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service work, particularly with high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, industrial mechanics, and logic controllers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel to client locations.

Pay: $46,512.77 - $56,015.38 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Commercial electrician service: 3 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
• Electrical systems: 3 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:
