Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Manage project scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring that costs are controlled and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and report on key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project plans.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in using construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and budgeting practices.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction industry.
- Experience using tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Prolog or similar project management software is advantageous.
