Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Senior Project Manager at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The IT Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the implementation of high-priority IT projects. This role involves defining project objectives, managing resources, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management methodologies and experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and strategic analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to identify technology needs
- Develop departmental technology roadmaps
- Plan, execute, and oversee the implementation of IT projects.
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed project plans, including budget, timeline, and resources.
- Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate and manage the project team and third-party contractors or consultants.
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to all company’s internal policies and legal regulations.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 8 years of IT and business experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems
- Previous technical project management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Able to prioritize tasks and projects effectively, with excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills to accomplish desired results
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field
