Responsibilities:
● Greet clients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor in person
● Answer and manage incoming calls from existing clients and perform intake on potential new clients directing them to the appropriate staff members and recording relevant information correctly
● Screen all potential new client calls and use given standards to forward appropriate calls to the managing attorney to sign up new clients
● Must possess superb critical thinking skills and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
● Possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to be empathetic and exercise emotional intelligence
● Assist in scheduling appointments and managing all attorney calendars
● Maintain an organized and efficient front office environment and reception area
● Handle administrative tasks, including entering proper court dates, data entry and file management
● Draft legal documents, make legal edits and efile the same
● Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure smooth and professional court dates and office operations
● Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling highly sensitive information
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree preferred
● Exceptional grammar, reading, and writing skills
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with technology
● High organizational skills
● Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen to difficult client situations
● Compassionate and empathetic, with a desire to help individuals during challenging times
● Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Keen attention to detail and accuracy
● Good time management skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
● Must be able to work independently and as part of a team environment
● Must be able to admit to mistakes and to accept constructive critiscism to learn from them
● Must be able to commute to and from work daily
● Must have a valid Driver's License
