This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Visa credit and debit card programs, providing expert-level support for Symitar functions, and ensuring seamless transaction processing. Applicants for this position must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. and as scheduled on Saturdays from 8 : 45 a.m. to 12 : 15 p.m.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for complex card-related inquiries, including transaction disputes, chargebacks, fraud concerns, and service disruptions.Utilize Symitar to manage and maintain cardholder accounts, perform adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize operational efficiency.Support and provide guidance to call center representatives, assisting with escalated card-related member concerns and ensuring high-quality service delivery.Investigate and resolve member-facing card service issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely solutions and a superior member experience.Administer Visa credit and debit card programs, including transaction monitoring, fraud analysis, and regulatory compliance adherence.Work with General Ledger (GL) and Centrix software to reconcile card transactions, maintain financial accuracy, and support accounting processes.Analyze card service operations to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and enhance overall system functionality.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement software updates, troubleshoot service disruptions, and optimize card-related technologies.Ensure compliance with Visa regulations, federal and state financial regulations, and internal credit union policies.Assist in developing and refining policies, procedures, and training materials for the Card Services team.Other duites as assigned.Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Symitar within a financial institution.Experince in Visa credit and debit card operations, including transaction processing, fraud detection, chargebacks, and regulatory compliance.Prior experience working in a call center environment, including handling escalations and supporting frontline staff with card-related inquiries.Proven ability to provide exceptional member-facing problem resolution in a financial services setting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical and operational issues.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of fraud detection tools and risk management strategies for payment processing.Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) software and Centrix, with a strong understanding of financial transaction reconciliation.Experience leading or mentoring a team within a card services or transaction processing environment.Good credit standing is also required and will be verified during the pre-employment stage.
