This will include overseeing governance and controls related to the investment policies, reviewing and analyzing investment transactions, reviewing state / federal laws related to insurance company investments, and working closely with senior management and the investments teams on executing investment transactions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of insurance laws, investment regulations, and financial markets.Provide legal and business counsel to senior management and other key leaders.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to insurance investments, including investment agreements, asset management agreements, and other transactional documents.Provide legal support for investment transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Oversee and lead all aspects of the investment compliance process, including ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and monitoring investment managers.Assess and manage legal and financial risks associated with insurance investments.Support investment team with subscription documents and regulatory and KYC issues for investment transactions.Coordinate and manage outside counsel, as needed.Provide support for holding company and operating company boards and investment committees.Provide support for other major projects as and when they arise (e.g., capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, etc.).#J-18808-Ljbffr
