About the Role
Autec is looking for a successful Material Handler who should be able to fulfill certain duties and responsibilities. This role plays a crucial part in our car wash equipment shipping and contributes to our commitment to delivering high-quality products. This position is at our Statesville, NC facility.
Responsibilities
- Work within an assigned area accurately selecting and merging the appropriate products and materials according to location, product code, lot number, and quantity that is required to build the pallet to complete the customer order.
- Wrap, label, stage finished pallet loads.
- Load pallets on trailers and secure loads.
- Report any discrepancies and/or damages to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Observe all safety guidelines; Inform Supervisor of any safety hazards; Attend all required safety training classes.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all Company policies and procedures.
- Cleans, maintains, and ensures proper housekeeping in the facility to meet and exceed GMP requirements.
- Performs warehouse work related to shipment of products, parts, and materials.
- Merge and prepare parcels and pallet load according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions.
- May operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment as required.
- Responsible for additional projects and duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order verification
- Experience operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and packaging
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory effectively
- Knowledge of ERP systems for inventory management is an advantage
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
