Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, developing, and implementing behavior intervention plans that enhance the quality of life for our clients. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective treatment strategies are in place.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavior analytic interventions and monitor client progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine the presence of developmental disabilities.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
Skills
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in behavioral health practices and methodologies.
- Experience in patient assessment and medical documentation processes.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral analysis.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations concerning patient confidentiality and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating client behavior and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
