Duties and responsibilities
Develop and oversee the implementation of center-based and home-based client schedules
Create and implement curriculum including craft creation and design, purchase of materials, and lead activities and social skills groups
Complete Bi-weekly session note audits
Collaborate and provide feedback to BCBAs related to center-based BT performance
Coordinate with BCBAs, HR, parents, and other staff as necessary for hiring, schedule changes, center closures, time off requests, etc.
Track and report billable hours for insurance providers through practice management software
Coordinate coverage when staff have time off and serve as a backup in the event sufficient coverage is not available through staff volunteers
Complete a minimum of 15 hours of direct client work per week
Implement and follow Behavior Support Plans (BSP)
Teach curriculum and programming for each client’s BSP; model appropriate skills and/or social behaviors and monitor
Provide information to the client’s BCBA related to BSP success/failure, parent questions and/or concerns, scheduling changes, etc.
Participate in discussion during supervision feedback sessions; review performance related to BSP and parent/client interactions; implement feedback and BSP changes
Provide support to center staff (crisis interventions) as needed
Prepare materials for individual and group activities
Coordinate group community outings
Adapt client activities and environment as needed
Complete datasheets, program sheets, and other forms of documentation
Additional Duties and responsibilities
Clean and maintain center; monitor inventory and order center supplies
Verify staff arrive on time for client programming
Verify clients arrive and depart according to their schedules
Participate in training as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience with curriculum writing
Proficient in data collection and analysis
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
Working conditions
Work performed in an office environment.
Physical requirements
Required to sit for long periods of time; use of hands and arms to complete tasks; may need to taste or smell as part of a development program; may need to walk or stand in the course of work as well as light to medium levels of lifting of supplies or equipment.
