A Program Coordinator (Level 1) at Autism Matters is responsible for the clinical oversight and decision making for a caseload of up to 8 clients and their team of providers. Primary responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Observation and Direction of therapy sessions, and collaboration with clinical team members. Qualifications And Educational Requirements
- Must meet Level 1 and/or Level 2 qualifications for education and/or experience:
- Level 1: (must meet both bullet points)
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in one of the mental health professional disciplines or possess a master’s degree in a mental health field
- Possess 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training
- Be available to work a daily schedule of 8 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday. Autism Matters will review other availability and scheduling requests on a case by case basis.
Clinical Oversight and Decision Making:
- Maintain a caseload of 4-8 clients
- Complete clinical programming for clients under the direction of a BCBA
- Develop and updates client individualized treatment and behavior plans and any other required supporting documents
- Provide Observation and Direction to clients on caseload across sessions to assess procedural integrity, monitor client progress, and inform clinical decisions
- Frequently analyzes data and graphic displays and uses interpretation to make programmatic revisions
- Inform client’s Senior Behavior Therapist of new and upcoming programming changes for clients on caseload
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration during meetings, overlaps, and trainings
- Participate in client intake assessments and development of materials prior to start of services
- Obtain information from medical records, staff, family members, and the clients to assess clients' capabilities, needs, and interests
- Monitor prior authorization approval dates and completes documentation to assure continuity of services
- Complete coordination of care with members of child’s care team including but not limited to SLP, OT, Psychologist, Primary Care Provider, School District, and/or PCA to develop client- centered treatment plans
- Complete and maintains timely and effective written documentation of all client services with minimal errors
- Provide BCBA/BCaBA/RBT supervision, if applicable
- Provide documentation to aid in clinical performance meetings to the Clinic Director, Program Manager, or Director of Clinical Services, as needed.
- Deliver 1:1 and 2:1 therapy using behavior analysis principles
- Adhere to individualized treatment plans targeting specific goals
- Demonstrate the consistent use of positive and proactive behavior management techniques as well as reactive strategies based on clients’ individualized behavior plans.
- Collect data and complete session documentation accurately
- Apply supervisor feedback to enhance therapy and improve client outcomes
- Conduct Family Caregiver Training and Counseling in order to provide support and consistency across environments
- Provide direct services (any billable client-related activity), as outlined above, during 80% of scheduled hours
- Schedule, prepare, participate in, and conduct staff and/or client meetings and trainings
- Maintain personal work schedule to meet client and clinic needs and manage time effectively to meet assigned deadlines and productivity standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe therapeutic environment
- Adhere to the ethical code of supervising professionals (LPCC, BCBA, LICSW, etc.)

- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and navigating Electronic Medical Records Systems
