About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement individualized treatment plans for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will also provide one-on-one support to children in a clinic-based setting, using evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct care to children with ASD in a clinic-based setting
* Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
* Use evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and skills
* Collaborate with BCBAs to design and implement new treatment plans as needed
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and program data
Requirements
* Prior experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred
* Must be able to pass RBT exam before exiting training
* Must have access to reliable transportation
* Must provide a TB test clearance
* Must be able to lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five pounds independently and repeatedly
* Able to sit on the ground or small chairs and bend and move at the waist
* Must pass a criminal background clearance through DOJ and FBI
