Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology (Doctorate preferred)
- Licensed or license-eligible in WV and OH.
- Three to five years of related experience (preferred) as a psychologist working with children and adolescents presenting with autism and other neurodiversity concerns.
- Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and facilitate social skills groups designed for individuals who may struggle with interpersonal communication and relationships.
- ·Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Job Description:
- Conduct psychological assessments, testing and evaluations for adults, adolescents and children.
- Draft thorough diagnostic reports which include assessment findings and recommendations to families.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.
- Lead therapy groups for children, teens and adults focusing on increasing social skills, coping skills, mindfulness and improving executive functioning.
- Stay current on the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology.
- Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care.
- Document services provided through appropriate clinical notes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
