Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and demand planning.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of parts inventory using AS400 or similar systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries and orders.
- Oversee shipping and receiving of automotive parts, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of shipments.
- Collaborate with OEM suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and fulfill customer needs.
- Train and supervise staff in best practices for inventory management and customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient operations.
- Analyze sales data to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dealership environment or similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand automotive parts and their applications.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, with experience in AS400 being a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
