NOW HIRING: FULL TIME COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATE/POTENTIAL TO BE A SERVICE ADVISOR/MANAGER

Job Duties:

• Greeting clients when they walk in the door in a friendly, positive manner.
• Answering the phone, scheduling reservations, listening to clients concerns, addressing clients concerns in a professional and positive manner.
• Learning and quoting tires, auto glass replacement/repair, and other mechanical work. Potential to eventually be in a Service Advisor roll. Also collecting accurate information from client’s for our outside glass crew so that we can address concerns regarding commercial and residential windows, doors, storefronts, screens, and custom glass showers.
• Ordering correct tires and windshields for clients and getting them a reservation.
• Handles traditional and online/electronic correspondence with accuracy, typing, filing, copying, printing, organizing, and ensures office space is neat, stocked, and ready for each day.
• Checking in tires when they arrive from suppliers and making sure that each one is accounted for. Checking them into our system.
• Creating the bill for reservations and taking payment when the job is complete.
• Help keep track of tire inventory and organization in the trailers and shop.
• Help hold tire/tube technician meetings and mechanic meetings.
• Participate in a 7:00am Monday morning meeting and be creative and open with discussion, with the team.
• In the winter month- willingness to come in early, if needed, to help move snow from the lot and from vehicles.
• Helping our Parts Technician/Shop Foreman keep the shop supplies stocked, maintained and up to date.
• Potential to be groomed into a Service Advisor/Service Manager role if we see fit.
• If eventually in the Service Advisor role: Calling clients regarding the diagnosis of the vehicle that our certified mechanic found and explaining it in a manner that you and the client both understand. Once status of approval is given, relaying the message to both the mechanic and Parts Technician.

• Leadership skills, energetic, motivated personality.
• Fast-paced automotive service environment demands you to be excellent at multitasking. We offer multiple different services so learning to prioritize what is most important in the moment is a must.
• Provides exceptional customer service at all times, answering the phone in a friendly manner every time, or replying to electronic service/quote requests in a professional and timely manner. Oftentimes you may be the first or only contact a client has with Auto-Pro Glass & Tire and it has to be first class every time.
• attendance record and exceptional work ethic.
• Proficiency with computers and basic office software required.
• Previous work experience in tire sales and service, parts management, or the automotive service industry desired, however we will train the right individual who expresses a passion for our business and the work that we do.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Keen eye for detail, organization, and accuracy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Hours open are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday but sometimes there may be days where you will need to come in early or stay late. Willingness to do so is a must!
