Job Summary
We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful full line 14 bay service center. One of the busiest shops in Dutchess Counter serving 24,000 customers cars per year provides the experienced flat rate tech with massive hours potential and our exclusive overtime bonus that most New Car Dealers do not pay.
As an Automotive B Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, parts list, and repairing vehicles. You must be consistent using the dealership’s computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems or be able to look it up in the systems.

Responsibilities
Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunctions on ICE Electric and Hybrid
Use DVI system and service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements while check if preventive maintenance is up to date and there are no codes in all system scans
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, fluids, filters, lights, and brakes
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner with DVI supporting evidence
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
NYSI License required
Full professional line of tools and diagnostic devices including Oscilloscope
Strong customer service and communications skills are required - a friendly welcoming car-side manner
Pay Range Data:
A highly skilled professional B class diagnostic tech with a NYSI license may make as much as $50000 to $75000 depending upon their hours worked and production Conversely some professionals may choose to work less or reduce production for personal reasons and result in a low range of the scale or lower due to their choices. Salaries are based upon working the full 40 hour week and excellent performance.
