General Service Technician

Since 1955 Midas has been a trusted automotive repair shop dedicated to providing top quality service to our customers. We take pride in our workmanship, integrity, and commitment to excellence., We are looking for a general service mechanic to join our team and help our customers take great care of their vehicles.

Responsibilities

As a general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services on most makes and models of vehicles.

• Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
• Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
• Assist with minor repairs such as belt and hose replacement, fluid exchanges and battery installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings to service advisors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive service or mechanical work preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
