Responsibilities
As a general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services on most makes and models of vehicles.
- Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
- Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
- Assist with minor repairs such as belt and hose replacement, fluid exchanges and battery installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings to service advisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service or mechanical work preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
