Summary
As Inventory Control Lead you will oversee all inventory transactions, costs, and resolution of errors and to ensure the warehouse has 100% inventory accuracy. You will work with the receiving, material handlers, buyers, and accounting to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Key Outcomes
Perform functions to support the Autocar Parts division in exceeding our customers' expectations
Essential Duties & Responsibilities and Est. % of Time Spent on Each
- Drive and ensure cycle counting is continually performed
- Perform regular analytics on inventory (i.e., aging, E&O, Reserve requirements, cost analysis, PPV)
- Identify and report out the root cause of inventory discrepancies due to vendor shortages, carrier losses, receiving or put away issue, mis-pick or overages and warehouse damage
- Coordinate & drive the investigation with Receiving dock, Planners, Suppliers, Carriers, and Material handlers
- Facilitate decisions for inventory adjustments through routing for approval, product disposition, Inventory adjustment, and cycle count coordination in accordance with our delegation of authority approval limits
- This role will be responsible for our "owned" Louisville warehouse and our two 3PL managed warehouses
- Must be able to analyze reports to monitor business KPI's
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Participate in required meetings
- Maintain product identification and location accuracy
