This role is remote with an ideal base location in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio or Tennessee.
What the Role Is
The Control State Inventory Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining inventory control procedures for Heaven Hill Brands regarding Control/Bailment States. This position is also responsible for continuous improvement of overall processes within the ERP System (IFS) as related to Control States.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Develop and maintain current processes within ERP system that ensure high levels of inventory control for all Control State sites.
- Document all current processes along with continuously looking to improve upon those processes.
- Conduct and report all Cycle Counting results for each site.
- Report and maintain all inventory related transactions taking place at Control State sites.
- Reconcile monthly inventory reports for all Control State sites.
- Make inventory adjustments as necessary in collaboration with our Customer Service and Finance teams.
- Assist in maintaining business processes that ensure the consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of data, and educate staff on these processes
- Collaborate and build relationships with all warehouses which are managing inventory on behalf of Control States.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies in accordance with established business rules.
- Record scrap transactions ensuring appropriate approval has been given.
- Support other Inventory Analysts as needed.
Who You Are…
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline
- Minimum (3) three years’ work-related experience in performing data analysis, inventory reporting, implementing inventory control procedures, database management and/or process improvement
- Must possess in-depth knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and inventory management software
- Highly analytical, assertive, and ability to prioritize with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with other departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills
