Autocar Parts is looking for individuals that thrive in a team-based environment, for a company focused on attaining goals. The primary responsibility of the Receiving Clerk / Administrator will be to assist the Receiving team with receiving and shipping tasks including shipment scheduling and monitoring; scanning duties; entering discrepancies; being a communication liaison internally and externally; focusing on process improvement and completing administrative tasks. Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities and Est. % of Time Spent on Each
- Analyzing and interpreting reports
- Participate in required meetings as needed
- Communicate with external Autocar team regarding assigned issues
- Become a process expert for inbound and outbound processes
- Enter, monitor, and close internal OS&D receiving discrepancies
- Scheduling of inbound freight shipments
- Quality monitoring of inbound freight shipments
- Serve as liaison between Supply Chain team and the Warehouse Ops team
- Maintaining warehouse supplies, filing documents, making copies, and handling basic clerical duties.
- Use hand-held scanners including scanning locations, part numbers and accurately entering information.

Required Education, Certification, Training
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have or obtain the following education, certification or training :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
