What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Infrastructure Engineer position at Automated Financial Systems?
Position Overview
The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for building and troubleshooting Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022 servers. In addition, the administrator will install and manage VM images, assist with company backups, server security process, PKI infrastructure, third party applications, DevOps support, and other related server infrastructure.
Essential Functions
- Provides system administrator functions to include second level problem resolution, troubleshooting server and / or network problems.
- Monitors servers and / or network activity and maintains integrity and stability of both environments.
- Maintains the current infrastructure.
- General responsibilities include new server builds, software / hardware upgrades, patch management, audit support, backup administration, DevOps support, and daily server administration tasks associated with supporting internal and external systems.

Core Hours are Mon-Fri, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, but we are a 24 hours support shop and would need someone available to support when needed.
Employment Type
AFS utilizes a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in office. Candidates should be able to commute to Exton, PA.
