Job Summary:
The Project Assistant will support the Project Manager in coordinating and executing HVAC projects. This role involves administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication with team members and clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning and implementing HVAC Projects, and automated building controls projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining project documentation.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between project managers, technicians, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project files.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research to support project planning and prepare reports and presentations for project updates.
- Budget Assistance: Assist with financial and budgetary processes, including procurement and billing.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and address any issues that arise during project execution, escalating to project managers as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and provide suggestions for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration is a plus, but not required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a project assistant or similar role, preferably in the HVAC, automation controls, electrical, or construction industries.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with automation controls and terminology is a plus.
