We are seeking skilled and meticulous Installers to join our team, specializing in the installation of high-end, custom motorized shading and window treatments. This role involves executing precise installations in various high-end residential and commercial settings, ensuring that each installation not only meets but exceeds client expectations for quality, functionality, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation work, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Execution:
- Install custom motorized shading solutions, window treatments, and related automation systems according to detailed project specifications.
- Ensure all installations are completed with precision, maintaining the integrity and functionality of the product.
- Site Preparation & Cleanup:
- Prepare work areas for installation, including setting up necessary tools and materials.
- Perform post-installation cleanup, ensuring the site is left in a professional and tidy condition.
- Client Interaction:
- Engage with clients in a professional manner, explaining the use of the installed systems, addressing any immediate concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough checks during and after installation to verify the quality of work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company quality benchmarks.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve any operational issues with installed products, providing basic maintenance or adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with the shop or technical support for more complex issues.
- Documentation:
- Document each installation with photos, notes, or as required by company procedures for future reference or warranty purposes.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including time sheets, installation logs, or service reports.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, using personal protective equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment for both yourself and clients.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain and care for installation tools and equipment, reporting any issues or needs for repair or replacement.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure installations are aligned with project timelines and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in installation or construction, with a preference for experience in window treatments, shading systems, or home automation.
- Skills:
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, or instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in the field where adjustments might be necessary.
- Good communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in installation, construction, or related fields are advantageous.
- Certifications:
- Certifications in relevant areas like electrical work, home automation, or safety training are a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and navigate through construction or renovation sites.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing, bending, or climbing.
- Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation of equipment or materials.
