About the Role :
ASD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to build and lead a new team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). This role will be pivotal in driving company revenue growth by establishing a high-performing BDR team that consistently generates and qualifies new business opportunities. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the team's performance, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and strategy development, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Team Leadership : Recruit, hire, onboard, and train a team of BDRs. Foster a positive and results-oriented team environment.
Performance Management : Set clear expectations and goals for individual BDRs. Monitor performance, provide regular coaching and feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Strategy Development : Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies and processes to maximize lead generation. Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
Lead Generation : Oversee the team's lead generation activities, including outbound calls, emails, and social selling. Ensure the team utilizes CRM and sales tools effectively.
Collaboration : Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and gather feedback to refine lead qualification processes.
Reporting and Analysis : Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and report on team performance to senior management.
Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve lead generation processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (3 years) successfully managing a BDR team or inside sales team in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of lead generation methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
