We are on the grow again and searching for a Client Due Diligence Team Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead and drive our due diligence and quality control efforts with a strong emphasis on process improvement for scalability while keeping a keen eye on the client experience. This role will also be responsible for implementing process improvements, advancing automation initiatives, and achieving efficiency gains across processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the SaaS industry, with a keen eye for identifying potential financial risks while ensuring high-quality standards in client due diligence processes.
This position is eligible for the APS Hybrid Work Schedule for local candidates residing in the Shreveport/Bossier City area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Culture:
- Foster clear communication with team members.
- Foster clear communications across teams, departments and partners (VAR).
- Foster a cohesive team perspective.
- Team Development: (Training, coaching and development)
- Create and maintain playbooks.
- Create and maintain client facing talk tracks and role playing (EX: Identifying and coaching behind client questions, pushback on required information, etc.).
- Conduct 121s and quarterly check-ins.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Director of Client Onboarding, Finance and Operations to ensure processes and procedures are aligned with company policies, banking partner requirements and in keeping with SOC compliance.
- Collaborate with Sales and other Implementation Teams, as well as the onboarding client, to identify and solve problems.
- Collaborate with management on processes and procedures, at the direction of the Director of Client Onboarding.
- Work closely with the Director of Client Onboarding to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Change Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Effectively manage changes in project scope, schedule, assess the impact to team, cross-teams, and partners and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and contribute to the evolution of project management methodologies.
- Due Diligence and Quality Control:
- Continuously review processes and procedures to ensure that deliverables meet established standards and requirements in a manner that allows for future growth and scalability.
- Determine and maintain capacity and team metrics.
- Ongoing review of GuideCX template for efficiency gains and enhancements to the client and partner journey.
- Oversight of project milestones and deliverables.
- Other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Supervisory Role and Responsibilities: Directly manages the Quality Team Lead (1) and the Quality Control Specialists (2). Responsible for personnel issues such as conducting 121 meetings, hiring, compensation planning, disciplining/termination, etc.; driving the team initiative(s) to support the organizational strategy and growth; developing and executing long-term plans that align with organizational, department and team goals; management of metrics to ensure team performance; not a budget holder; does have SOC control/responsibilities.
Requirements:Education, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the qualifications, skills, and abilities required and preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the SaaS or HCM industry.
- Proven experience in client due diligence, financial risk assessment, or fraud detection.
- Certifications in quality management or fraud detection are a plus.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, preferred.
- Experience working in the HCM domain.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and industry compliance standards, preferred.
- Familiarity with SaaS and HCM compliance standards, regulations, and financial vetting practices.
- Experience with software and systems preferred.
- Strong client centric focus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on detail.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines.
- High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen.
- Ability to work with people and work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in an environment in which constant deadlines exist.
- Must be able to work the hours necessary to successfully perform in this position.
