Job Posting Information – Assembly Set Up Tech
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of changeovers and set-ups within the Assembly department.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and assisting lead and supervisor as needed.
- Required to perform and document machinery preventive maintenance based on maintenance schedule.
- Perform inspection procedures using precision measuring instruments and apply document principles of statistical process control (SPC).
- Use and confirm proper operation of all safety devices and procedures.
- Complete work orders and department related paperwork.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate assembly equipment as well as learn and master the ability to complete changeovers.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance checks, provide accurate documentation, maintain tooling, and perform quality checks.
- Must be able to make sound decisions with regards to machine set ups and changeovers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, quality, and other related documents and instructions.
