F urniture  Installer

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a  Furniture Installer  to join a company in Columbia, SC. The role involves assembling and installing both commercial and residential furniture, delivering heavy disassembled items to client locations, and ensuring careful assembly and installation to prevent damage. Strong customer service skills are a must for this position. Pay Rate

18.00-20.00 per hour Schedule and Hours

1st Shift – hours can vary  F urniture  Installer Duties  and Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer instructions
  • Operate hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, wrenches)
  • Deliver and install disassembled furniture at client locations
  • Identify and report any issues with furniture, client property, or installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly and installation

F urniture  Installer Qualifications and Requirements

  • Clean driving record and active driver's license (10-year DMV history required)
  • High school diploma and must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and meet physical demands of the job
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods, including overnight and multi-night trips
  • Strong math skills and ability to read a tape measure to the 1 / 32"
  • Proficiency in using electrical and manual hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints (preferred, but not required)
  • Prior office furniture installation experience preferred, but not required
  • Construction or electrical experience is a plus
