What are the responsibilities and job description for the JOB FAIR-Forklift Operator position at Automation Personnel Services, Inc.?

FORKLIFT OPERATOR-JOB FAIR FEB. 2nd-FEB. 28th

Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Forklift Operators for a companies based in Baytown, Channelview, LaPorte, and Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the operation of a sit-down Forklift to load and unload trailers, stack pallets, and stage pallets or containers for shipping. Pay Rate

15.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule and Hours

Various schedules available Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect, unload, and put away products from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via Forklift.
Pick orders and load product onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
Utilize all material handling technology like scanners etc. to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.

Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications

Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.

Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.

Ability to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.

Previous lift truck experience, loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars, preferred.

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferred.

Experience operating lift trucks with attachments such as forks, box clamp, roll clamp or pulp clamp and High Reach.

Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.

Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely. (Assessment administered in Office)
