A CCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a n A ccounts Payable Specialist for a company based in Columbus , MS . In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish , maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Pay Rate
30,000 - $35,000 annual salary
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday , 8 00 am to 5 00 pm , Friday 8 00am to 3 00pm
A ccounts P ayable Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures .
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports and check requests .
- Sort, match and set invoices for payment.
- Enter and upload invoices into system.
- Track expenses and process expense reports.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Prepare and perform check runs.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions .
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files both physical and electronic.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports. .
