SECURITY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Security Electronics Engineer for a company based in Decatur, AL . In this role, you will primarily be responsible for all aspects related to designing and delivering security electronics systems for existing and new detention facilities. You must interview for this position.
Pay Rate
80-125,000 per year depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday-Thursday (8-5pm)
Friday (8am-12pm)
Security Electronics Engineer Responsibilities
- Design and develop detailed drawings, layouts, and wiring schematics using CAD software such as Micro S tation and AutoCAD .
- Collaborate with CAD operators to develop and review accurate and precise technical drawings as well as prepare system design and installation documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations as well as perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized records of all design documents and revisions as well as create, distribute, and maintain submittals, BOMs, and close out documents.
- Create purchase requisitions and track material delivery, ensure projects are designed and delivered within budget and schedule requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress.
