Job Summary
Verify purchased, fabricated & assembled parts and finished goods conform to applicable acceptance standards and adequately prepared for storage in ready-to-use inventory.
Responsibilities
- Apply accept/reject criteria for parts/components prior to issuance into Ready-to-Use (RTU) inventory.
- Physically prepare parts/components for storage in RTU inventory.
- Update inventory records as appropriate.
- Assist in the development of accept/reject standards.
- Direct non-conforming (aka rejected) goods for subsequent disposition.
- Manage inventory of materials used for preparing parts/components for storage in RTU inventory.
- Verify products are properly identified and in compliance with legal agreements.
- Other duties as assigned & consistent with training & expertise.
Qualifications
- Able to:
- Lift 50 lbs. unaided.
- Walk & stand for approximately 8 hours per day in a conditioned shop environment.
- 3 years of applicable experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer proficiency
