Summary
We seek an accomplished Senior Director of Data Services to lead enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and innovation. This role requires a visionary leader with expertise in scaling data teams within high growth M&A-driven mid to large companies. The ideal candidate would have proven expertise in the warranty, insurance, or similar domains with demonstrable success in designing data systems, teams, and architecture to support data delivery to analytics platforms and AI/ML-based automation frameworks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams of data professionals, including architects, engineers, analysts, and consultants.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee the management of data infrastructure, architecture, and quality control.
- Migrate on-premises infrastructures to cloud-native platforms
- Evaluate and integrate data assets from acquisitions into centralized analytics ecosystems.
- Drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to identify and implement data-driven opportunities and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement data products and services to support business needs.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in data practices.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in data management leadership.
- 3 years of experience with data governance, MDM, and customer master initiatives.
- Proven experience leading data teams and initiatives at mid-to large-sized companies.
- Experience in M&A-driven environments and the F&I industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in delivery data architectures that power AI/ML based automation frameworks is preferred.

Physical Demands
