Duties
- Oversee all accounting functions, including account reconciliation and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
- Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize financial software such as Reynolds, CDK, Automate, Dealertrack for efficient financial management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, payroll, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software such is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a finance team.
- Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
