Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer demands. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Duties
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate pallet jacks for the safe movement of products within the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing of orders, ensuring that all items are correctly packaged for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying that shipments match packing lists and purchase orders.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to update inventory records and track shipments.
Experience
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with distribution center processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and shipping processes.
