What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Advisor position at Automotive Repair?
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and technicians. You’ll greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and ensure they leave with confidence in the service they receive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
- Greet customers and assist with service check-ins and check-outs
- Build accurate repair estimates based on technician recommendations
- Order parts and manage inventory for repairs
- Communicate with customers about repair needs, updates, and timelines
- Problem-solve to find the best solutions for customers and the shop
- Maintain a clean and organized service desk
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Automotive knowledge (preferred)
- Previous service advisor or similar experience (preferred)
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
