What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Fixed Operations Director position at Automotive Search Group?
Well-established dealer group in the Los Angeles market is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Corporate Fixed Operations Director to oversee and manage the fixed operations (service and parts departments) for multiple locations within the dealership group. The successful candidate currently resides in California and has a proven track record of managing multiple rooftops. It is important that this person knows how to drive profit and manage expenses. The departments are in good condition but there is further room to grow them with the right leader in place who can fine-tune policies and procedures for further success. This person will be responsible for training, driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and improving operational efficiency and profitability across all parts and service departments.
This is a hands-on position and the Corporate Fixed Operations Director will be expected to travel between locations to properly train, manage, and develop their teams. The successful candidate is metrics focused, strong with KPIs, a strong trainer & coach, as well as a clear communicator that does not get 'lost' between the different stores. It is also important that this person knows how to drive profit and manage expenses. It is imperative that this person has multi-store experience in the California market, zero exceptions
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction within the fixed operations departments
- Manage and develop team members, including setting performance goals, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Set and achieve financial targets, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Work daily with store level Parts Managers and Service Managers to achieve goals
- Ensure departments are hitting monthly CSI targets
- Oversee training and development of staff, actively training and mentoring throughout the fixed departments
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendor partners, and other dealership staff
- Stay on top of industry trends that can improve business, including new technologies
- Address any escalated customer concerns
- Other duties as required
