What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Clerk position at Automotive Titling Corporation?
The Title Clerk (File Auditor) collects, prepares, and audits vehicle sale paperwork in compliance with various state laws and regulations. This is to be done with the upmost accuracy and attention to detail.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Audits title paperwork received from dealer network for accuracy and completeness
· Balances paperwork to ensure proper funding has been received
· Prepares any required tax and title documents to be submitted to the DMV
· Provides excellent communication to dealer networks via email/internal dashboard as needed to resolve open issues with paperwork
· Provides/gathers information by answering questions and requests internally
· Maintains quality service by following procedures and resolving issues with paperwork
· Workload expectation of 25-40 files per day
· Processes title paperwork including DMV applications and supporting documents utilizing internal title applications software.
· Other duties as needed

Education and Experience:
· Dealership Title experience & experience with out-of-state title work desired, but not required
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s preferred
· Must meet minimum requirements on Logic and Reasoning, Math, and Attention to Detail Testing.
· Strong math, accounting, and deductive reasoning skills required
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
· 10 key by touch, keyboard 50-60 WPM
· Ability to obtain a State of Colorado Notary Certificate

The pay range for this role is $20-$22/hour, and we have an incentive compensation model for employees who hit minimum efficiency and accuracy metrics!
After your first 30 days, you'll have access to PTO - 3 weeks/year 10 paid holidays!
