What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payables Trade Processor position at AutoNation, Inc.?
Position Summary:
The BOS Accounts Payable (AP) Processor is responsible for processing vendor invoices to ensure the invoice is processed accurately. Research any invoices that were unable to be processed due to missing information or incorrect information entered.
Who would I interact with:
In this role you will have interactions with other AP Trade Teammates, including Processors, Leads and Supervisors.
Primary Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
• Review invoices, validating key fields after OCR software has produced data
• Process all invoices within the established SLA
• Resolve validation issues on invoices that have been directed to an exception queue
• Respond to requests from the dealerships to correct invoice data for processing
• Maintain a positive customer service approach in all interactions with dealerships and coworkers
• Assist with projects as needed under the direction of the BOS AP Manager / Supervisor / Lead, including but not limited to, processing of utility invoices, compiling team metrics, etc
Problem Solving:
Ability to use all tools available in order to resolve problems in a timely manner, evaluating the difference between data inputs and the values in various AutoNation systems.
Decision Making:
Is responsible for reviewing data and comparing to training guides per role in job description. After comparing data problem solve any mismatches of transactions and escalate to lead or supervisor for resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1-3 years Accounts Payable or bookkeeping experience
• 10 key 8,000 ksph
• Type 40 wpm
Preferred Qualifications:
• Dealership accounting/bookkeeping
• ADP knowledge
• Excel skills
