Position is based in the Atlanta, Georgia area and is not remote. The Southeast Market consists of 33 dealerships throughout Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive market-specific strategies to achieve sales goals and improve sales efficiency by considering local market trends and competitor analysis.
- Financial Performance:
Monitor and manage financial performance across all dealerships within the market, including P&L statements, sales volume, gross profit, and expense control.
- Operations Management:
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all dealerships within the market, including compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Customer Focus:
Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring General Managers implement customer-centric initiatives, addressing customer concerns, and fostering strong relationships with repeat customers.
- Team Development:
Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent across all dealerships within the market.
- Manufacturer Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive manufacturers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Performance Analysis:
Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in the automotive retail industry, preferably at a senior management level
- Deep understanding of sales processes, customer service standards, and automotive industry trends
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data to make informed business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute comprehensive market plans
- Proven track record of developing high performing leaders.
- Proven ability to attract, develop and retain great talent.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
