As the Senior Director of Communications Planning, you'll be the architect of our communications strategy, leading a high-performing team to develop and execute impactful media campaigns that drive business growth. You'll provide strategic direction, ensure alignment with overall business objectives, and champion data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall communications vision and roadmap, aligning it with broader business goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic campaign plans across both paid and organic touchpoints.
  • Analyze market trends, understand audience behaviors, and translate marketing objectives into impactful campaigns.
  • Approve and oversee budget allocations across the entire communications portfolio, optimizing spend for maximum ROI while ensuring brand consistency and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Craft audience personas and identify market opportunities to uncover new audience segments and potential growth opportunities.
  • Leverage sophisticated data analysis tools to segment existing customer bases, identify high-value cohorts, and continuously refine targeting strategies for optimal campaign performance.
  • Embrace the data: analyze campaign performance using the latest tools and technologies, identify optimization opportunities, lead campaign post-analysis, and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
  • Foster a collaborative culture by leading, mentoring, and developing a talented team of media professionals, creating a dynamic and results-oriented environment where data-driven insights meet creative excellence.
  • Be the voice of Communications Planning by presenting compelling recommendations to senior leadership, clearly communicating the rationale behind your strategies, and demonstrating the measurable impact of the communications program on business goals.

You're the Perfect Fit if You Have:

  • 10 years of experience in marketing/communications/media planning, with a proven track record of success across a variety of channels.
  • Experience in marketing or market research, with a strong understanding of target audience analysis and segmentation methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and media landscapes, including media buying, ad tech, and data analytics.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to oversee array of detailed, complex and inter-related campaign plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • A collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates your team, and cross-functional teams, to achieve success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
