What to Expect from the Human Resources Internship?

As an HR Intern, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that directly impact AutoNation’s workforce. During your 10-week internship, you will:

• Assist in HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management

• Collaborate on projects related to organizational development, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement

• Support onboarding and training programs to enhance employee experience

• Work with HR data and analytics to help improve workforce strategies

• Learn how HR policies and procedures align with business objectives

Professional Development & Mentorship

Qualifications:

We are looking for students with the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program (Master’s students also accepted)

• Majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field

• Minimum GPA of 2.5; a GPA above 3.0 is preferred (Transcript will be requested)

• Ability to commute and work on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL or in White Plains, NY for the duration of the internship

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• A willingness to learn and an openness to coaching
