This multifaceted role applies user-centered design principles in partnership with product management and software delivery teams to inform and improve the user experience of ASI's command and control platform. You will interact with business stakeholders, Product Managers, developers, and QA professionals to develop a shared understanding of the outcomes we strive to achieve for the business and our customers. About The Role

Job Duties
- Partner with Product Managers and Customers to understand user needs and make informed design decisions.
- Analyze customer requirements and user needs to design intuitive user flow diagrams that integrate seamlessly with ASI's digital platform and UX strategy.
- Translate concepts into sketches, wireframes, and prototypes for stakeholder and user feedback.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs, continuously improving the overall user experience.
- Create high-resolution UI mock-ups consistent with UI guidelines and ASI's core value of simplicity.
- Review the technical feasibility of designs with software engineers to create high-quality user interface solutions that meet program timelines.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering to ensure successful execution of delivered designs.
- Contribute to building and promoting UI guidelines and UX design standards.
- Stay current on UX/UI trends, techniques, and best practices for optimal designs.
- Strong understanding of and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Angular 2 preferred).
- Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in User Experience Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A digital portfolio showcasing a track record of crafting simple UI/UX solutions for complex problems.
- 7 years of experience in UI/UX Design.
- Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development practices.
- Experience with lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, DevOps, etc.
- The ability to clearly articulate your design decisions.
- Design experience for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Experience applying user experience research data to design decision-making.
- Experience conducting user experience studies, surveys, and interviews.
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives that enhance user experience from conception through innovative design and execution.
